Jarosław W. Sławek, MD, PhD is a Professor of Neurology at Medical University of Gdansk, Head of Neurology&Stroke Dpt. at St. Adalbert Hospital, Gdansk, Poland. Vice-President of Polish Neurological Society. Officer (secretary) of IAPRD Executive Board, member of MDS, EAN, INA. Since 2018 Co-editor in Chief of Polish Journal of Neurology & Neurosurgery and a member of Editorial Board of Parkinsonism and Related Disorders journal. Since 2022 he is also a member of National Neurological Board at Ministry of Health in Poland.
Main scientific interests include movement disorders, especially Parkinson’s Disease and cognitive decline, dystonia, spasticity, Botulinum toxin therapies and rare diseases. He is an author and co-author of more than 260 scientific papers in peer-reviewed medical journals and chapters in polish and internationally recognized books.
