Dr. Blatt was the Head of the Epilepsy Clinic and EEG Laboratory and Deputy Head of the Department of Neurology in the Sheba Medical Center, Tel-Hashomer, Israel, until 2021. He was a member of the Israeli ILAE Executive Committee and was its president for 2 terms.
Dr. Blatt is a graduate of the Tel-Aviv University Sackler Faculty of Medicine, and did his neurology residency in the Chaim Sheba Medical Center, and subsequently epilepsy and EEG fellowships in the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. His clinical and research interests include clinical epilepsy, the pharmacologic treatment of epilepsy, genetics of epilepsy, pharmacoresistant epilepsy, neurostimulation for epilepsy.
