Rusina Robert

Robert Rusina is Professor of Neurology, Charles University, Faculty of Medicine, University Hospital Hradec Králové, Czech Republic

His main research interests are neurodegenerative dementias, mainly primary progressive aphasias (PPA) and frontotemporal dementias (FTD) with a particular focus on clinical and neuropathological correlations. He is also active in prion disorders surveillance and research within the National reference laboratory for human transmissive encephalopathies in the Czech Republic. He was principal investigator of a national multicenter study on PPA.

He is one of the coordinators of the European Reference Network for rare neurological disorders (ERN-RND) FTD disease group.
