Duka Glavor, Klaudia

Assist. Prof. Klaudia Duka Glavor, MD, PhD is a neurologist and neuroimmunology subspecialist. Since 2003, she has been a part of the Department of Neurology at GH Zadar, where she has built extensive clinical experience across a wide range of neurological conditions. In addition to her clinical work, she works as an assistant professor and lecturer at the University of Zadar, Department of Health Studies.

Committed to providing comprehensive diagnostics and treatment for her patients, she has pursued numerous additional trainings in neurology. In 2008, she obtained certification in extracranial and intracranial Doppler at UHC “Sestre milosrdnice” in Zagreb. A year later, she completed further education in neurosonology at the Neurosonology Lab, University of Padua, School of Medicine, Italy. She is also certified in electroencephalography (EEG) and electromyoneurography (EMNG) by the UHC Zagreb, The Referral Center of the Croatian Ministry of Health for Epilepsy, Neuromuscular Diseases, Clinical Electromyoneurography, and Demyelinating Diseases.

She has been an active participant in numerous congresses, both as an invited lecturer and as a clinical study investigator. Her research primarily focuses on cognition and quality of life in patients with multiple sclerosis. For over a decade, she has dedicated herself to scientific research and the development of a novel cognitive test (FTT) for MS. In collaboration with a team from the University at Buffalo, USA, she published a validation study for the FTT and continues to explore its application through ongoing follow-up research.

Dr. Duka Glavor is a member of the European Society of Neurosonology and Cerebral Hemodynamics (ESNCH/WON). Since 2009, she has also been part of the organizing committee for the Zadar Stroke Management and Neurosonology Summer School, contributing to the advancement of education and research in stroke treatment and neurosonology.
