Dr. Milija Mijajlovic, MD, PhD is Associate Professor of Neurology at Faculty of Medicine University of Belgrade, Serbia. He is working as Board Certified Neurology Specialist, Angiology Sub-specialist and Head of the Department for Cerebrovascular Diseases/Neurosonology Unit and Deputy Director of the Neurology Clinic, University Clinical Center of Serbia in Belgrade. He received his Master’s Degree in Neurology (Stroke) and PhD title in Neurology from Faculty of Medicine University of Belgrade. Dr Mijajlovic is a member of the Executive Committee of the Neurosonology Research Group of the World Federation of Neurology and has served as the member of the Teaching Course Sub-Committee of the European Academy of Neurology, as well as Co-chair of the Neurosonology Scientific Panel of the European Academy of Neurology. Professor Mijajlovic is invited reviewer for more than 20 peer reviewed journals and is serving as Associate Editor of Heliyon and Brain Sciences journals. He is author of more than 100 articles published in peer-reviewed journals, he was invited speaker at more than 90 international conferences, and he is coauthor of more than 20 books and book chapters. Dr. Mijajlovic is member of the Ethics Committee of Serbia and of the Executive Committee of Serbian Stroke Organization. Professor Mijajlovic is invited faculty member of the Neuroscience PhD program at “Iuliu Hatieganu” University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Cluj-Napoca, Romania.
