Lukasz Rzepiński graduated from the Medical Faculty of the Medical Academy in Gdańsk (Poland) in 2007. He trained neurology at the Neurology Department of Collegium Medicum Nicolaus Copernicus University and at the Neurology Department of the 10th Military Research Hospital and Polyclinic in Bydgoszcz. He participates in scientific projects and clinical trials in cooperation with other European centers dealing with immune-mediated as well as neurodegenerative disorders of both the central and peripheral nervous system. In 2017 he obtained his PhD from Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń. In his everyday clinical and scientific practice, he focuses on the mechanisms of neuroimmunology, neurodegeneration and autonomic nervous system involvement. In 2024 he obtained his post-doctoral degree (habilitation) in medical sciences and became an associate professor at the Faculty of Medicine, Bydgoszcz University of Science and Technology. He is a member of the Polish Neurological Society, the Polish Federation of Clinical Neurophysiology, the European Academy of Neurology and the International Outreach, Membership & Diversity Committee of the Peripheral Nerve Society. Since 2024, he has been the acting Head of the Neurology Department of the 10th Military Research Hospital and Polyclinic in Bydgoszcz.
