Evzen Ruzicka received his MD in 1982 from Charles University in Prague. He trained in neurology and neuroscience in Prague and La Salpetriere in Paris, France. He is currently the Head Emeritus of the Department of Neurology, 1st Faculty of Medicine, Charles University in Prague. He has edited several books, including the Gait Disorders volume in Advances in Neurology, and has published more than 250 papers focusing mainly on movement disorders. In 2017-2019, Dr. Ruzicka served as Chair of the European Section of the International Parkinson Disease and Movement Disorder Society.
