Duties of a Moderator:
Please get acquainted with our debate speakers in advance by reviewing their BIOs which are available online: CONy 2026 faculty
As a moderator, you are responsible for the time management of the debates within your session.
Introduction by Moderator:
Moderator will ask the audience to scan the QR code for CME accreditation. Will introduce the debate topic and its capsule and the speakers (6 minutes)
- Pre debate Voting (2 min) encourage the audience to vote prior to the start of the debate. Please advise participants to:
- Scan the QR code displayed on the screen
- Choose Yes or No to cast their vote
- Results (1 min)
- Debate: Yes / No (30 min)
- Rebuttals (2 minutes )
- Discussion (5 min)
- Post debate voting (2 min)
- Final Results (1 min)
Total debate time: 50 minutes
The results of both pre – debate and post-debate voting will be projected on the screen by technician
Moderators are not required to prepare any slides
