Michael Teitcher, MD, is a vascular neurologist and faculty member in the Department of Neurology at Shaare Zedek Medical Center in Jerusalem, Israel. He earned his medical degree from Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine and completed his neurology residency at Loyola University Medical Center, where he served as chief resident. Dr. Teitcher then pursued a fellowship in vascular neurology under the mentorship of Professor José Biller, a renowned leader in the field. His clinical and research interests focus on the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of cerebrovascular disease, including ischemic stroke, intracerebral hemorrhage, and rare cerebrovascular disorders. In addition, his work emphasizes improving patient safety in the delivery of neurologic care. Dedicated to advancing stroke care, Dr. Teitcher is involved in medical education and collaborates on research initiatives to improve patient outcomes.
