Rattanawong, Wanakorn

Dr. Wanakorn Rattanawong is a neurologist and medical educator based in Bangkok, Thailand. He earned his Doctor of Medicine with honors from Chulalongkorn University and further specialized with a Diploma from the Thai Board of Neurology. His post-graduate training spans multiple international programs, including specialized courses at King’s College London and the headache master school, International Headache Society.

Currently, Dr. Rattanawong serves as an lecturer at the Faculty of Medicine, King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang and practices as a neurologist at King Mongkut’s Chaokhunthaharn Hospital and Chula Headache and Orofacial Pain Clinic (CHOP). He actively contributes to the Thai Headache Society as a board committee member.

Dr. Rattanawong’s research interests focus on migraine and neurological disorders, with a significant body of work published in respected journals. His research covers a range of topics, from medication overuse headache to the neurological effects of COVID-19. His publications, including recent editor’s choice article published in cephalalgia, reflect his ongoing efforts to address complex neurological conditions and improve patient outcomes.
