Professor Heinz Reichmann

Heinz Reichmann, MD, PhD, is a Professor of Neurology and the former Dean of the Medical Faculty at the University of Dresden, Germany.
Professor Reichmann graduated from the University of Freiburg, Germany, spent a scholarship at Konstanz and Columbia University, NYC and specialized in Neurology at the University of Wuerzburg, Germany where he was appointed as full professor in 1990 before he became Chair of the Department of Neurology at the University of Dresden, Germany, in 1996. Professor Reichmann is past-President of the European Neurological Society and was the former President of the German Parkinson Society and President of the German Neurological Society. He has published more than 450 papers in peer-reviewed journals. His major scientific interests are movement disorders and energy metabolism.
