Dr. Odelia Elkana, senior Clinical Neuropsychologist and Head of the Neuropsychological Rehabilitation Graduate Program at The Academic College of Tel Aviv-Yaffo.
Dr. Elkana received her doctorate from the Hebrew University, Jerusalem, focusing on brain plasticity and brain reorganization following insults in the Department of Psychology and Brain Science. Her work has been presented at international conferences and published in leading peer-reviewed journals.
Additionally, Dr. Elkana has served as an associate editor in the Journal of Alzheimer’s Disease (JAD).
In recent years, Dr. Elkana’s research has been dedicated to the field of Psycho-diagnostics and Neuropsychological assessment. Dr. Elkana strives to monitor and develop accurate psychological measures and tools for various pathologies focusing on Age-related Cognitive decline, Mild Cognitive Impairment, and investigating the intricate mechanisms underlying the transition from Subjective Cognitive Decline (SCD) to objective cognitive decline in highly educated older adults.
