Chard Declan

Declan Chard is a Professorial Research Fellow at UCL Queen Square Institute of Neurology and Honorary Consultant Neurologist at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery, Queen Square, London. His main clinical and research interest is in multiple sclerosis (MS). His research uses magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) to better understand the disease processes underlying MS, how they evolve over time and how they cause disability. His current work ranges from studies looking for robust predictors of short- and long-term clinical outcomes, investigating disease mechanisms, and refining MRI measures for use in progressive MS and remyelination treatment trials. He is a Trustee of the MS Trust.
